* For the enjoyment of both campers and shelter users, the Lighthouse Picnic Shelter will not be rented out if groups are camping in sites C or D, unless you are one of the groups camping in sites C or D.

From I-5 North
Take I-5 North through the US/Canada border at the Peace Arch crossing in Blaine, WA.
Once across the border continue onto BC-99 N for 15 miles
Take Exit 26 for BC-17A/BC-17 W toward Tsawwassen
Turn left onto 56th Street and drive 3 miles to the border crossing at Point Roberts.
Once you enter Point Roberts it's only 2.5 miles to the Park
Go straight on Tyee Drive and follow it past the marina. Keep following the same road along the water until you reach Lighthouse Marine Park on your left hand side.
There is parking for approximately 5 vehicles at the shelter. Additional vehicles may park in the main Lighthouse Marine Park parking lot, located 600 feet away.
Can I bring my own BBQ grill?
Yes, you can bring your own grill but you are responsible for the safe operation of your grill.
Can I bring my dog(s)?
Yes, but dogs must remain on a 6' (maximum) leash at all times.
Can I decorate the facility?
All sites must be left in a "leave no trace" state. Users can use decorations, confetti, etc., but everything needs to be picked up before you leave.
Can I use a sound system?
Sound systems are allowed insofar as they do not inhibit park enjoyment for other users. Content must be appropriate for all ages.
Do I still need a "Liquor License" if I've paid the $60 Alcohol Use Fee to Whatcom County Parks?
The Alcohol Use Fee charged by Whatcom County Parks is not a liquor license. To find out if you need a State of Washington Banquet Permit please check here. It is your responsibility to research and follow all laws pertaining to alcohol use at your event.
Customers are required to leave the facility in the same condition as when they arrived. Cleaning supplies are provided. Garbage and recycling must be removed from the premises (must be taken from the park) unless the customer has paid the optional waste disposal fee.
