The Northwest Annex site has a 100+ year old building that currently houses Planning, Permitting and some Public Works functions. The building, previously a Care Facility, was purchased and remodeled in the early 1990’s and is dilapidated beyond feasible repair. An architectural feasibility study was conducted to produce a preliminary architectural design and a proposed master plan of the site. The Council approved the preliminary design and authorized staff to begin the Architectural and Engineering Phase of the project. This phase will fully design the core and shell of Building 1, which is intended to replace the existing Northwest Annex building.
