Vaccine Appointments for Next Community Vaccination Center Clinic Available
BELLINGHAM, WA -- The Community Vaccination Center (CVC) located at Bellingham Technical College (BTC) will host its next COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be 900 appointments available for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Registration for the April 10 clinic opens at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, and appointments can be made at prepmod.doh.wa.gov or by phone at (360) 778-6075.
The phone line is intended for people without access to the internet or who need language assistance - please do not call if you can access the internet. It’s much faster to schedule online than over the phone, and the phone service needs to be prioritized for those who can’t schedule online. For more information about how to schedule an appointment and what to expect at the CVC clinic, watch this video, produced by BTV. A Spanish translation is also available.
Appointments fill up fast, and those who aren’t able to schedule an appointment are encouraged to sign up for the waiting list. Last week more than 40 people who signed up for the CVC waiting list were contacted by clinic staff and vaccinated. The waiting list is located at the bottom of the scheduling page on PrepMod. Only people on the waiting list will be contacted in the event of cancellations or no-shows on clinic day - anyone without an appointment who shows up and wasn’t called from the waiting list will not be served. This waiting list is for the clinic date only. The CVC does not maintain an ongoing wait list.
The CVC is a collaborative effort between Bellingham Technical College, Unity Care NW, Whatcom County Health Department, Whatcom Unified Command, Family Care Network, PeaceHealth, Sea Mar Community Health Centers, Hoagland Pharmacy, and Whatcom Community College (WCC).
